"Both my wife and I have agreed to foster positive body image with all our children. This means everything about our bodies – from what they look like, to what they can do. And yes, that includes issues of sex as well. In fact, we have taken upon ourselves twice the amount of work required to raise a child who is not ashamed of itself: teaching them to have positive body image, but at the same time know that most people have deeply negative body image and won’t appreciate their openness to it. It’s a difficult job, but the madness won’t end unless there are individuals out there who can think clearly on these matters."
